Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I thought I'd post this here in case anyone hadn't seen any news bulletins. Didn't realise Heath was also born in Perth.

Such sad and shocking news. What with this and the death of Sir Edmund Hillary on the 11th and the great chess champion Bobby Fischer a few days ago, 2008 isn't starting out too well in some areas.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colours....but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

I was completely shocked when I found this out last night, and I didn't even remember this morning until I heard someone mention it. It's so sad. I hadn't realised he was a father either...

My thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
