Yea, yea, but it seems to induce nuttiness!
There is nothing like landing in Oz and finding people you know!
We were in a taxi when Clare said she saw Kym Valentine. We went, Yes...yes...mmm
Then later we found that it actually was Kym! Out of all the people in Melbourne...

I'm going to try and get out there next summer - after I've finished my degree. Passed through Melbourne airport on the way back from NZ last year but I actually want to see more than just the inside of the airport next time!

Yes, for sure. It is a nice airport but they've got them all over the world!!!
It is outside Melbourne but easy to get into the city.
You'll love it!

If i can get to the airport and back, anybody can ! Word of warning to anyone driving there - they've not much patience when they're behind the wheel of a car! - apart from that, they're the best ever

Yes, Maria...I think that's cos there are so many Italians in Oz, its them who are the inpatient drivers in Oz!!
Yes, off the road the Ozzies are almost horizontal, behind a wheel, watch out!
Trouble is, when over there I was driving an Oz hire car so they thought I was being a pain trying to get used to the roads. 2nd time I had a car from the Gold Coast and got breathalised at 10:30 am on the Gt Oceon Road on a Sunday morning.

lol at you getting breathalised Mimi !!! Yeah I'm sure the Aussies thought i was one of them cos my hired car had an Oz number plate -- but still it was an experience and i'd do it again. Got chatting to a traffic warden in Melb and he was great, let us park there all day for free instead of just 2 hours. Have to agree about Italian drivers - they scare me ! but i can swear in the lingo! (problem is the kids understand it as well!)

Don't worry Jillian I get lost in this country a fair amount too but I'd still be up for driving in Oz! I did a bit of driving when I was in NZ but that was very different to how you guys are describing Oz driving! I wanted to try and get out there this summer but that's not going to happen now so I'm going to do my very best to get out next year - end of degree party me thinks!

Will have to PM you about Oz next year then Jillian. Thanks for the info about the London gig too - with it being mid week I'm not sure if I'd be able to get there though especially as I have lectures at 9am the next morning. I will only have 4hrs of lectures a week next term as well! Not impressed but hey ho, will just have to wait for the yorkshire area dates to be announced.
