The glass incident was relatively near the beginning I think. It was just a case of someone chucking their empty plastic pint 'glass' in the direction of the stage and it happened to hit Fletch - which was probably quite an achievement given that he never stands still for very long on stage!
I think one of the guys told people to calm down but I'm not sure it made much difference.

Oh right! I wasn't aware of that happening. I'm glad no one was hurt, although it was a stupid thing to do.

Worse things have been known to happen in the past! But mostly people are pretty ok. One thing is that most times Fletch is treated with respect and people only want him to touch them when he leans out into the crowd... But maybe you know differently...

No I'm with you on this Mimi - I've only ever known underwear and things to be thrown on stage or people to put their hands out to him so I was surprised that someone threw something as substantial as a pint glass even if it was only plastic.

I saw the 'plastic' glass land on the stage but I just presumed the person who threw it was drunk but didnt want to do any harm to Fletch. Its a shame that people dont know when they've had enough to drink.

Yeah I don't think there was any malicious intent - just someone who was very drunk and wanting attention from Fletch but was too far back to be able to put their hand out.

Well, what did you think of the Channel Five film? It didn't have some things in it that I was expecting. What are the names of the girls in the chorus line with Santa hats? You did a great job girls! Brina, you sure looked good!

Thanks Mimi - you weren't looking too bad either Good all round documentary though - I wasn't expecting them to show quite so much of the UK stuff so I thought there might be more actual behind-the-scenes footage but the stuff they did show was good and I certainly wasn't complaining at getting to see the fun of the gigs again I only knew one of the people in that line who kept being shown shouting 'Toadie we love you' and that was Mel who was on the far right of the line. She's social sec of the Neighbours' society.
