I've been watching loads of the music videos posted on YouTube and wondered if you had to have any special software to create them? I've got my own ideas for songs and clips that could be used but I don't know how to actually put it all together. Any help gratefully received.

The easiest software to use is Windows Movie Maker, if you've Windows on your computer, chances are you already have it, if not its free to download from the Microsoft site. It does crash quite a bit though, so keep saving your video as you go. There are tutorials online as to how to use it, but the best thing is to just have a play around with it, its fairly straightforward. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that. I do have windows movie maker on my computer already so I'll have a play around and see what I can come up with. It'll give me another excuse to avoid doing my uni work!

Sorry to be annoying but.....I've tried importing episodes I have on my computer in movie maker but it says they can't be imported because they are not the correct type of file and can't be supported by the program. Is there something I'm not doing??

If it's episodes in the format of asx, then just try renaming to wmv, that's all I did/do. Also, make sure you save as movie file not as project, or all your work will be in vain. Neighbours Fans website used to have/has a section on how to make MV's, used to be in the the Creative section.

Thanks kaz, yes I do need to change the files to .wmv. I'll go and have a look at the section on Neighbours Fans too (although I really must do some uni work first!)

Have made another MV, but this is not Karl/Susan. This is a Stingray/Dylan/Janae/Boyd/Sky vid. It's about the recent hardships they have all suffered. *UK SPOILERS!* www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttxaVH-LQCw

*joins in the posting of MVs* Once upon a time (in 2006), Sister Hazel released their sixth studio album. Entitled "Absolutely", it contained many songs that were considered to be "pure Hazel", showcasing the group's talent in blending heartfelt lyrics with resonant music. One song on the album, "Where Do You Go?", had twofold meaning. Written just after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, it became a song about literally losing everything that you had and having nowhere to go, but it could also pass as a song about the ending of a relationship. Once upon a time, there were three Hazelnuts who were also big Kusan fans. And I nabbed this song before either of them could, so thank you to Em and to Chloe for letting me still have tabs on it for the last year! Once upon a time, there was a couple. And then it all went horribly wrong. Well, it has to in order to get to the happy ending, doesn't it? Title : Where Do You Go? Artist : Sister Hazel Pairing : Karl / Susan Spoilers : none Length : 4m 1s MQ (9.2 MB)HQ (14.9 MB)I am so gonna fall asleep at work tomorrow. Should have gone to bed ages ago... Oh well. All for a good cause!
