Yes, Karl and Susan for ever...
But I guess all good things have to come to the end...
I mean to say...she's having a hard job to keep up with him as he is over here more than he is over there this year...well almost!
Well it has been a very, very good year for us with the tours of various kinds, Oz, the London filming...what more could we want?
Well, let's not go there, eh?
Naw...Izzy...? Naw...

So wow I hear a car crash involving Karl and Susan is to happen in June in Aus. I wonder what happens.... I reckon Susan will be the one seriously hurt and Karl will keep a vigil at her bedside.

UK's National Television Awards 2007 Neighbours has never won anything in this country it would be nice for the show to be recongised for a change, and besides it would be nice for the Neighbours cast to visit the UK (again!) The nominations for this years Natational Television Awards 2007 have been releaed, and here are the nominations that concern Neighbours: Most Popular ActressJackie Woodburne Neighbours (Susan Kennedy) (Number 25) Jackie one of the most powerful, conniving and underrated actresses in Australia, She is a much-loved actress in Australia and by viewers - so please vote for her and Alan (Karl Kennedy) Most Popular ActorAlan Fletcher Neighbours (Karl Kennedy) (Number 32) Chris doesn't stand a chance compared to Alan Fletcher (Karl Kenendy) Most Popular Serial DramaNeighbours (vote for to at least be nominated, as we know its not going to win) www.nationaltvawards.com/Spread the word to Neighbours, Alan and Jackie fans!!NB: The Neighbours nominated cast are more known to the British TV industry and the British public than the h&a cast members, so vote for Neighbours to represent the australian TV industry in Britain. Neighbours and its cast are more known in the UK's and have a better chance of winning than h&a. www.nationaltvawards.com/thank you (Oh yeah I have heard that you can vote again after 2 days)

Seriously it sucks that neither Fletch or Jackie got onto the shortlist. They have produced some stunning work especially in Aus recently. Such a heartbreaking storyline with Didge's accident Jackie just blows me away as Susan right now. Poor Susan's just so shocked and distraught at the accident Imagine what it'll be like when the MS is finally diagnosed. I absolutely love Fletch in this as well as the supportive Karl. I love how Karl is and how worried he is for his wife. The scene where he said I don't want to lose you was gutwrenching. Amazing scenes by Fletch and Jackie.

Totally agree Liz - the Aus pace stuff at the moment is truly amazing. I'm hoping that when this stuff airs in the UK from January onwards that it'll be big enough to make people vote when it comes to next year's awards. For them to do this whole storyline and not be recognised in either Aus or the UK would be a tragedy.

People in the UK though are more likely to vote Corrie or EE for some stupid reason so I'm not sure it'll get recognised. I hope it does though. There's really no excuse in Aus though, I have to say.

Do you reckon the only reason they made it to the shortlist here last year then was due to the 20th anniversary?
I really hope that isn't the only time or reason they get recognised here.

Possibly I think, which is a real shame. Fletch and Jackie are outstanding actors and it irritates me that people like Anthony Cotton win these awards. I personally don't like Anthony Cotton as he plays himself on screen basically and appears quite arrogant at times.

Ok today's Aus episode is prove if ever it was needed that Fletch deserves to be recognised for his acting. The scenes in the MRI scanner room were absolutely breathtaking and have to be some of the most powerful scenes he and Jackie have ever done. On a positive note though Karl is going back into medicine in a couple of weeks according to the spoilers We'll just ignore the fact he's then going to get trapped in a collapsing building with Zeke and Libby!
