Fletch would be a great James Bond, he would be perfect!
I think as we are on the subject of Fletch campaigns, why dont we start a campaign to get Fletch`s album to number 1. If the crazy frog can do it surely Fletch can, he has a massive fan base!

Alan definitely has a huge fan base in the UK, especially among the student population. Did anyone see the link posted by NeighboursUKfans under the Topic: Fletchfest 2005 - Review Section in The UK Tours forum? Apparently a lot of listeners (students) have emailed BBC Radio One about the band Waiting Room and the cult of Karl Kennedy. lol Jo Whiley played a sample of "Hold that feeling" and "You'll never walk alone" and then said "The man is already a legend" an absolute legend. Never a truer words spoken!! ;D

I think Fletch can display a variety of emotions and feelings etc - strength, vunerability etc. i dont think ive ever seen connery do that - not that i doubt he wouldnt be able to - but fletch for me is fantastic at portraying real people and real emotions You have got everything spot on there. As a massive James Bond fan, Sean Connery pulled it off the best as far as I'm concerned. He is the epitome of cool. But if I were to be honest, I think Alan is the better actor of the two and could give Connery a run for his money in the "cool" acting category.

LOL!!! Karl is a LEGEND, without a doubt. But there's nothing that quite sums up the concept of James Bond. I understand what you mean though.

Dant, you're preaching to the converted. We can get 'In The Waiting Room' to no.1. Just put a CD vending machine by all the cashpoints in student unions. Which song from the album would make the best ringtone?!

I just remembered- when I was in Malvern, my friend's dad took us to see a house with tonnes of crimbo decorations nr Gloucester. The bloke who's house it was, used to be a stunt man in the bond movies. If Dr. Fletch does panto nr there again, we could try to get them together to film a mini bond movie
