A couple of extra dates have been added to the tour, so those bookings are just being finalised I believe.
The list of dates and venues should be out very soon.

Bit harsh, ML? He goes where he's booked, and if there's no Belfast gig then it's because nowhere wanted to book him - or it was completely infeasible for him to get over there. The main reason it's just Fletch and not the whole Waiting Room band is because of the credit crunch, and some venues haven't wanted to book him because they're trying to save money.
I am sorry you're missing out, but it's not anyone's fault. For what it's worth my nearest gig is over an hour away and it's on a school night; if I go then I'm going to be half asleep in front of my classes the next morning.

been 2years since hes done a last tour. the two weeks isnt even filled up.
the fact that these dates arent put out till 4 weeks before they start is silly aswell cos cant go to them too late notice.

Last tour Fletch worked every night. Towards the end he was exhausted and his voice was suffering as a result of it; he couldn't sing on the interviews he was giving and the gigs were... not brilliant. Having days off to rest and recover is not only a good idea, it's essential. Unless you'd rather he did some serious damage?
And if you'd bothered to ask, you might have found out (like I did) that the dates were only finalised the other day. We have been told as soon as possible.

I'm sorry too ML that you can't make a gig, but Jen is correct. Fletch can only go where booked. We only received the finalised dates a few days ago. I suspect that this is because this tour takes place at the start of the academic year.
With reference to your comment about the blank dates, just because there aren't any gig dates listed doesn't mean Fletch hasn't commitments on those dates. Fletch works harder than anyone I know and this tour will not be any different.

I just wrote a whole reply to this and then got kicked off the board before I could post it. I'll try and remember most of what I said though. Firstly, thanks for the all these dates Lucy Secondly, I have to agree with Jen and Lucy on this one, monalisa. It is up to the venues to book Fletch (and the band) so if they haven't there is obviously a reason. If they're being affected by the credit crunch (and there is no huge campaign as I think there was in order to get the band there in 2007), they are unlikely to feel it is worth their money to book him. Not that they don't want him there, but they also have to think of their business. It's a shame that you are unable to get to a gig on this tour but blaming Lucy and Fletch is not going to help. There is no point in giving us dates until they've been finalised and Lucy has restrictions on when she can release dates. She always gives them to us as soon as she is able to though, and this time around has been no different. There is also only one of Fletch, and as much as we know he'd love to go around every city in the UK doing a gig and entertaining the crowds, that is never going to be possible. Unfortunately this time it is Belfast (and Scotland) that have missed out.

Hi everyone. I haven't been able to get on here for ages because my computer wouldn't let me. But I am still alive. Yes, there is no Reading either, so if I go anywhere I will have to drive for miles, but that is the name of the game and it is nearer than going to Oz!

An extra PA date has been added to the tour.
Fletch will be appearing at Walkabout Plymouth on the 6th October.

I will be going to Plymouth, which is my closest, about 1hrs drive - I thought Surrey wasn't to far Mim, I sometimes go there when I visit my brother who is near you. Anyway Plymouth here I come, unfortunately I will be working the following day so I hope it finishes early then last time of 3am! Not sure how to contacted Derry Cross, but I will try.
